For founder Diane Lee, launching the Collective in Bay Terrace this past June is far more than a business venture—it is a labor of love and a rewarding second chance. Lee originally launched her character entertainment company, Dream Princess, near Boston in early 2019. After a slow start, the onset of the pandemic forced the business into an unexpected hiatus. Fast-forward to 2026: while on an extended maternity leave, Lee channeled her creative energy into rebuilding her vision right here in New York. Turning that hiatus into an opportunity to launch an elevated mom-owned brand has been a true blessing for her family and community.
